After rebonding, me and my mum went shopping for Xmas pressies!
And yes, I haven't bought anything yet !! >.<
For instance from Qwerty (by the-estb.com), I bought this cool wire necklace with recycled keyboard keys as pendant for a dear friend and colleague… The keys are fashioned into rings , pins and pendants. You can get your message across if you can spell or just get creative , in case they run out of certain alphabets…My necklace with two keys at RM20 . I know where to send my old keyboard to next time. They also have ,maybe had by now , it was down to the last piece of calendar (RM29), with every month telling of a sexual fetish, like June was it? Mamaphilia and December was , I think Bestiality. Hmm… Life could get interesting next year..!
Then I bought the cutest handcrafted dragonfly brooch from Kit (017-6073306) , one look and it landed on my heart at RM15. The pair of durians with intricate spiky thorns , look like they took a a lot of painstaking hours to craft but alas, thorny issues I will leave it to another time.
Next were the handcrafted plaster of paris heart shaped magnetic buttons, Musedarling’s creations, personalised for only RM4.90. Just great for any down and out friend or family who needs some extra love this Xmas season or maybe just as a cute reminder of your kind thoughts, never can be too much ! Love, never can’t get enough …no…no baby…whoop..whoop..
Then, I just card ir-resist. This stall, Mahani Moleque make cards with old french designs, check them out at www.mahanimoleque.blogspot.com and overlay them with smart words from the series “Sex and The City“, yes I am sucker for that show. These cards are then fashioned into door handles and greeting cards and packed into cute envelopes…c’est la vie. tres chic etc etc. My choice , well Coco Chanel’ s famous words ” Fashion fades , only style remains the same ” took precedent over Carrie Bradshaw’s ” I like my money where I can see it… in my closet” , but it was a tough choice!After everything...We finally go home...It's great to go shopping for Xmas decorations..They're so cute !!However...Money still not enough for me !Hahas.
